Our project
The initiation and development of the VIPS project was primarily dedicated towards developing countries by enabling easier access to safer and regular treatment of serious bleeding disorders such as Haemophilia - it is well known that a large percentage of patients in these countries does not receive safe or sufficient treatment.
The VIPS project is also of major interest to Blood Transfusion Establishments in highly developed countries, allowing them to virally-inactivate plasma and cryoprecipitate by Solvent-Detergent in an independent and cost-effective manner.
